Jersey photographer: an engagement photoshoot at Ouaisne

I had visions of a warm spring evening for this engagement photoshoot. Instead we had dark clouds, high winds, the threat of rain, and really freezing temperatures. Matthew and Kirsty bravely decided we should still go ahead with their engagement photoshoot, and I hope these photos just go to prove that you can get beautiful results even if mother nature is throwing a few curveballs.

I think we all instantly forgot about the weather once the session started - we began in a sheltered forest with some pops of yellow colour on the gorse bushes, and then down on the beach Kirsty braved the freezing temperatures in her beautiful dress and made it look like summer. It was plain to see how in love these two are, there is such warmth and closeness in the photographs. I adored this session so much. Wishing these two a lifetime of adventures and happiness, and thank you so much Kirsty and Matthew for letting me share a few of my favourites here.

If you would like an engagement or couples photoshoot that is a little adventurous, I would love to hear from you.
