Jersey photographer: a family photoshoot in St Catherine’s woods

St Catherine’s woods are quite magical for photoshoots in the winter. There are shallow little streams for splashing in, still plenty of colours in the forest, and the sunbeams fall through the trees like something out of a fairytale. Kids LOVE photoshoots here, because they completely forget we are taking photos and instead go frolicking in the streams and climbing the trees - if you’d like playful shots of your children in pretty lighting, this location is hard to beat. It’s nice teamed with a short trip to Archirondel for a bit of pebble throwing into the sea, and some landscape shots along the path there.

This was my third year photographing this lovely family. Even though they have now moved to Guernsey, they still came over to Jersey for their photoshoot in February - oh my goodness, how nice is that! Absolutely love seeing this beautiful little family grow each year, and I’m hugely grateful to them for letting me share my work.
