A family photoshoot and stormy sunset at Le Braye

I can’t wait to photograph this family for the second year this week. Sometimes you just ‘click’ with clients, and this family were just that - so easy going, fun loving and so supportive of my business as I was just starting up in Jersey at the time.

I also love that the weather was quite unsettled for their first photoshoot - I get a lot of inspiration from the skies for my shots. This session was a beautiful sunset, but also with some moody storm clouds on the horizon. I loved how the sunset was burning strongly through a tiny crack in the storm clouds, making the sky purple and pink.

There were so many sweet and relaxed moments on this photoshoot, all naturally occurring which made my job a dream. And when I took a shot of their little boy and he gleefully exclaimed ‘gawwwwgeous!’, well that set us all off giggling.

I’ll let you enjoy the photographs of this heartwarming family photoshoot, with its stunning skies.
