Jersey photographer: an adventure-filled family photoshoot

Will boys enjoy a traditional family photoshoot? Probably not. Will boys enjoy sand dune exploring, tree climbing, tickle fights and jumping in the sea at the end? YES!

Photoshoots with young boys are often some of the most energetic photoshoots that I do. Plenty of activities and location changes ensure that we can keep them on their toes and get wonderfully candid shots of them just being themselves, and at their happiest. 

I hope you enjoy looking through these photos of a warm summer’s evening in Jersey, with two little busy beans. With huge thanks to the Maye family for letting me share some of my favourites from their session. Despite it being well past the boy's bedtime, their gallery is a riot of laughter and smiles, and super pretty golden lighting. We ended up in the sea fully clothed at the end, and the boys gave mummy and daddy an hour lie-in the next day - hurrah to that!⁠
