Jersey photographer: a winter photoshoot on the west coast
Photographing another photographer is always a huge privilege, and also a little nerve wracking. Especially when it is one as amazing as Sophie Darwin. And then add into the mix that I had been on maternity leave for 9 months, so was feeling a little rusty when I picked up my camera for this photoshoot!
The weather was a little wild, and Sophie had warned me her children were a little wild (which I love!!!!), so I knew we were in for a gorgeously imperfect photoshoot. Wind ruffled hair, beautiful winter knits, fierce hugs, infectious giggles, and a tiny sprinkling of winter sunshine that peeped through at one point - it was such a nice reminder of why I love photographing families outdoors so much.
Big thanks to Sophie and her family for trusting me to capture them, and for letting me share a few of my favourites.
I am fully booked this winter, but if you would like to book a photoshoot for next winter with dark earthy tones and snuggly knits, I would love to hear from you.
