Jersey photographer: a summer meadow photoshoot

In June, wildflower meadows burst into life in Jersey, and I find myself constantly craning my neck out of the car window if we are driving around to see where they are blooming. This family had asked for a summer session with lots of greens, as they already had a vision for the images they wanted on their walls to complement their home decor. I thought an early summer field of oxeye daisies would be perfect, where the sun would dip behind the trees to give us some twinkly light, and the wildflowers would be interspersed with wild grasses.

This was a very special photoshoot, because Ashley is the childminder to my son, so I was hugely flattered when she asked if I would photograph them. It is because of her that I am able to carry on running my photography business now that we have three kids! They are the most gorgeous family, inside and out, and it was lovely to see their little girl’s treasured soft rabbit make an appearance on the photoshoot too - so cute!

With big thanks to Ashley and her family for letting me share a few from their beautiful session. And a bigger thank you to her for taking such amazing care of my little boy when I am working.

If you would like to book a wildflower session in June, I would love to hear from you.
