Jersey photographer - family photoshoot at Le Saie

Le Saie is a lesser known beach in Jersey, which is probably why I love it. I often think it looks like something out of Scotland or Ireland. You have to catch the tides and the lighting right, but if you do you will be rewarded with a wild looking coastline, a pebbly beach backed by trees, rock pools, and some beautiful driftwood-like trees. It’s perfect for families that would like a secluded location that has a bit more ‘rawness’ to it than your usual sandy beach. I’m also a total sucker for the pretty lighting here against the dark coloured rocks.

This was my second time photographing the Roberts family, and I love that their girls get really stuck into the adventuring side of the photoshoot, so the images are always so natural and fun. They brought gorgeous vintage fishing nets from their grandmother, and wore beautiful floaty dresses that caught the light. I knew I was going to love this photoshoot before we even started clicking the shutter.

With big thanks to the lovely Roberts family for letting me share a few of my favourites from their session - it was hard to pick!

If you would like a photoshoot at this gorgeously wild location, I would love to hear from you.
