“Rachel was a delight to spend time with - and the photos were beautiful. We were so pleased. She made the most of each opportunity the children presented her with and captured the essence of a family trip ‘out west’. It was a relaxed experience and we didn’t feel we had to pose for pictures. Rachel brings with her lots of experience with light and colour in the outdoor space making for exciting but natural-looking images. Book a slot with Rachel - you won’t regret it!”

“Rachel came to our home 5 days after our daughter was born to take newborn photos. Rachel was brilliant at making us (two very tired parents) feel at ease and relaxed after a whirlwind of a week. She captured some really special images that we, and our family, will always treasure. We ended up buying the full collection as they were all wonderful! I also really valued the time we spent taking a step back from newborn baby life to just watch and take in all of the tiny details about our daughter in such a lovely way. I'd highly recommend Rachel for any baby or family photos! Thank you Rachel xx”

“Rachel produced the most beautiful, magical & natural shots of our family, she made it so much fun and has managed to show the different personalities of our two girls. I would not hesitate in recommending Rachel, in fact I have people asking me for her details after seeing our pictures. Thank you Rachel x”

“We had such a fun evening with Rachel and got absolutely fantastic results! We adore her photos and are already thinking about doing another shoot!

I had pre-warned Rachel that my eldest would be painfully shy, hated photos and would probably keep his distance from her, but somehow she managed to earn his trust immediately and made us all feel completely relaxed (so much so, she thought I must have been talking about a different child)!! I had told the kids we were just going to meet a friend that evening (not mentioning any cameras), and it really did feel like just hanging out with a friend, even though we had never met before. The weather tried to cause us a problem, but the high winds and dark skies combined with Rachel's photography skills, created some truly magical images. Thank you so much Rachel! I really hope we see you again! xx”

“Rachel is a great photographer. We loved every minute of our photo shoot (and I’m sure our dog, Cara, did too!). The whole photo shoot was very relaxed. Would recommend Rachel to anyone in Jersey looking for a natural photo shoot.”

“We had such a fun afternoon with Rachel and our boys all loved her! As a family we are terrible at taking photos and we particularly don't have any of us all together. Rachel managed to capture each of our 3 boy's characters completely naturally as they were playing around her and we've got some beautiful shots of us all together too - she captured a very special and happy moment in time.and we just had to buy the whole gallery. I would highly recommend Rachel, she was very unobtrusive and lovely to have around. Thank you Rachel!”

"Rachel has a real gift capturing the special moments in the most natural and beautiful settings. Her style was completely unobtrusive and it really comes across in the relaxed and natural reactions of both my daughter and I. Her photos are truly magical and we are so pleased with the results. We really enjoyed our mummy and daughter shoot and we will be booking her again soon for a family session..."

"Rachel is one of the most talented and professional photographers we’ve come across. She has a wonderful eye for light and composition, and although we were short of time (and our little boy was very tired!) she managed to capture us looking natural and relaxed. We can’t recommend Rachel highly enough!"

Siblings meeting

"We are delighted that Rachel was able to photograph our son’s first days for us, and couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She is such a talented photographer! The pictures from our newborn session are everything we hoped for and will be a cherished reminder of these special, early days.

We were a little apprehensive about the session for a number of reasons- not naturals in front of the camera (well- the adults anyway); our older son was quite emotional about the arrival of his brother, and our house was in an even more chaotic state than usual. Rachel made the session so easy and comfortable for all of us.

She quickly identified spaces around the house that would work as settings and we soon felt relaxed about our mess! She then went at a pace that suited all of us, with Rachel capturing natural moments as they occurred, and fitting in portraits of our newborn in his sleepy state at appropriate moments.

What Rachel won’t tell you is that she is also something of a baby whisperer- I was in awe of her ability to relax our baby into a dazed state, and she was just great at playing with our older son, ensuring he enjoyed the experience too.

The end result is exactly the style we hoped for - wonderfully natural pictures of our new baby and our family, no out of place props or poses. Our only trouble now is that we love them all and need to find the wall space to put them on !"

"We were so pleased with the photos Rachel took. As someone who doesn’t like having their photo taken Rachel put us all at ease. She had a great selection of toys and tricks up her sleeve for keeping the children engaged! We were delighted with the photos. They are beautifully natural and unposed - just everyone enjoying the outdoors. We will absolutely be booking Rachel again for photo sessions with the children over the years ahead."
